Marketing Strategist
Chris Brown is an experienced marketer working with the creative team at Spacecadet Design who assists a wide variety of clients to present their product or service in an interesting and engaging way to an increasingly savvy and wary marketplace. He makes use of whatever media gets the message to the end user and has been known to project images onto exterior walls, use email contests to increase tradeshow attendees and insist clients try new things. As an advertising suit he has made no deals with any evil entities and tries to avoid hyperbola in a world obsessed with it.
Chris Brown is also a writer who lives out his Rock ‘n Roll fantasies writing about music and life for Uptown Magazine, Winnipeg Men, Winnipeg Women, Urbanite and the online paper Winnipeg First. He also writes about technology every two weeks for the publication Prime Times Magazine under the false assumption that he’d get free “boy toys” to feed his addiction.
He is the father of two wonderful kids that have their mother’s beauty and mysteriously little of their father’s neurosis. He has been on the boards of the Central Speech and Hearing Clinic, The Winnipeg Folk Festival and The Manitoba Audio Recording Industry Association and The River Heights Community Club’s Battle of the Bands fundraiser and needs to learn to say NO.
Chris can be found haranguing his friends to go see the next-big-thing at the West End Cultural Centre or pounding on his drums in his basement.
