To present this traditional cuisine in a unique way, we began with the branding. Using hand done typography gives this owner-operated restaurant the personal look that matches its style and food - homemade and friendly. The noodle-like typography has a hint of play with the plump tomato dotting the "i" in Vesuvio.
For the menu, we asked Adam, the owner, to relate stories of how each recipe was handed down from one generation to the next. Adam told us of how the traditions were celebrated and revered. Using those stories, we produced these snippets on the menu adding personality, passion and a reverence for tradition.
