Description

The Cabin project is a design show that explores the Canadian identity through many different design disciplines. Originally showing at Tokyo Designers Block in 2003, the show has grown from a mixture of graphic design and industrial design, to the inclusion of textile design, photography, painting and ceramics. Since it’s original showing in Tokyo, the show has travelled to ICFF in New York, Design Exchange in Toronto, and the Home Show in both Calgary and Edmonton. Not only was Spacecadet Design a contributing member to the show, we created the promotional materials, including this catalogue, promotional postcard and pine fresh air fresheners, used to line the streets of New York prior to the premiere showing in Tokyo. The Cabin show has been featured in many publications including Maclean’s and Azure magazines.
